This is the contract between you and Custom Hydroponic Solutions when you use this site or buy something from us. Plain language where possible, careful language where it has to be. Please read it.
01 Who we are
"Custom Hydroponic Solutions," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Custom Hydroponic Solutions, a sole-proprietorship workshop based in Woodstock, Georgia, USA. "You" or "your" refers to anyone who accesses our website, browses our products, or places an order.
Our website is customhydroponicsolutions.com. Contact: sales@customhydroponicsolutions.com.
02 Accepting these Terms
By accessing this site, creating an order, or downloading any digital product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Shipping Policy, and (for digital products) our End-User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase products.
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a school, business, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
03 Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. By ordering, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
We do not currently require account creation. If we add accounts in the future, you are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
04 Products & pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price displayed at the time of checkout is the price you pay.
We make every effort to display product photos and specifications accurately, but colors, dimensions, and exact appearance may vary slightly because each tower is hand-built. Photos are representative, not contractual.
Promotional discounts ("sale," "launch sale," "save X%") are valid for limited periods and may end without notice. Promotional prices apply only to qualifying products purchased during the active promotional window.
05 Orders & payment
Orders are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full credit card information. By placing an order, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Submitting an order does not constitute acceptance of your order by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel your order, we will refund any amount charged.
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on shipping destination and applicable state law. You are responsible for any other taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your local jurisdiction.
06 Shipping
Physical products ship from Woodstock, GA via USPS or comparable carrier. Standard processing time is 1-5 business days from order date; transit time depends on shipping method selected at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for full details on shipping options, timelines, lost packages, and damaged goods.
Risk of loss and title for physical products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
07 Returns & refunds
Physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in unused, resalable condition for a refund of the product price (minus return shipping). Custom-built and personalized items are non-returnable. Digital products are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, except where required by law.
Full details: Refund & Shipping Policy.
08 Digital products & STL files
Digital products (PDF guides, STL files, downloadable content) are licensed, not sold. Your use is governed by our End-User License Agreement (EULA). In summary: personal use only, no resale of the files or printed parts, no redistribution. Watermarked downloads include a unique identifier tying the file to your order.
09 Custom builds
Custom-built towers and commercial orders are non-cancellable after the build has started. We will provide a written estimate and timeline before commencing work. Deposits on custom orders are non-refundable once materials have been purchased on your behalf.
10 Product safety & warnings
Hydroponic systems involve electricity and water in close proximity. You assume full responsibility for safe installation and operation. Specifically:
- Use only pumps with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet.
- Do not modify the pump's electrical components or wiring.
- Keep electrical connections dry; never operate a pump that has been damaged or has a frayed cord.
- Do not consume water from the reservoir; it contains nutrients and is not potable.
- Keep nutrient solution out of reach of children and pets.
- Inspect 3D-printed parts before use; do not use any part with visible cracks or damage.
- Hydroponic towers are not load-bearing structures and should not be climbed on or used to support other items.
If you are unsure about any aspect of safe installation, consult a licensed electrician or do not proceed.
11 Warranties
Pumps: All submersible pumps carry a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Defects from misuse, accidental damage, neglect, or operation outside specified parameters are not covered.
3D-printed tower parts: Covered against manufacturing defects for 60 days from delivery. Damage from impact, exposure to temperatures above 70°C (158°F), exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods, or modification voids this warranty.
Digital products: Provided "AS IS" with no warranty. We will correct material errors in the PDF or STL files at our discretion via free updates.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12 Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR ANY PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF CROPS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY (EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW), ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO ANY PRODUCT OR THIS SITE, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Custom Hydroponic Solutions, its owner, agents, and suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of any product, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party right, or (d) your violation of any applicable law.

17 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use any digital product also terminates, and you must destroy all copies in your possession.
18 Dispute resolution & governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Before filing any legal action, you agree to first contact us at sales@customhydroponicsolutions.com with a written description of the dispute and to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cherokee County, Georgia. You and we each consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Class action waiver: Any dispute must be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, or collective proceeding.
